Ireland’s top craft beer breweries and bluegrass and roots musicians participated in the 2015 Doolin Craft Beer & Roots Festival at the weekend.
The largest event of its kind outside of Dublin was hosted on the grounds of Hotel Doolin in County Clare.
Featuring pub music sessions and stalls hosting food produce from throughout the Burren region, the Doolin Craft Beer & Roots Festival is aimed promoting awareness of new and established independent Irish breweries.
Breweries that showcased products at the festival included Dungarvan Brewing, Carlow Brewing Company, Dingle Brewing Company, Independent Brewing, Eight Degrees, Galway Hooker, Trouble Brewing, Franciscan Well, Metalman, Radikale and White Hag. Dooliner Beer, an Irish Red Ale that Seamus O’Hara from Carlow Brewing Company has brewed for Fitzpatrick’s Bar at Hotel Doolin also featured.
Bands that performed during the weekend included Luan Parle & Clive Barnes, The Young Folk, Gavin Glass & The Holy Shakers, John Blek & The Rats, NC Lawlor, Anna Mitchell Band, Mongrel State, Prairie Dawgs, Oldtown Rounders, Hickory Wind, Bad Moon, The Molly Hicks, JigJam and Randolf & The Crokers.
