AN EXHIBITION celebrating the Limerick inspired graphic novel, Savage Town, opens tonight at Ormston House, marking the first exhibition of the year at the cultural resource centre.
Created by Declan Shalvey, Philip Barrett and Jordie Bellaire, the graphic crime novel is set in the city at the beginning of the noughties and is loosely based on real events.
Savage Town at Ormston House is an exhibition celebrating the novel, including original artwork, a live performance and a panel discussion with authors Declan Shalvey and Philip Barrett.
Copies of the graphic novel will also be available at the event courtesy of Big Bang Comics.
The exhibition opens at 7pm on Thursday evening and runs until February 17. Ormston House opens Wednesday until Saturday, 12 to 6pm.
Admission to the center is free.
