Mary Queen of Ireland school in Caherdavin celebrate their 40th anniversary this year. And they are celebrating by having a school musical on December 20th and 21st. However, to cover costs in producing the musical they are organising a massive car boot sale to take place in the school yard on Sunday October 23rd at 11.00am.
Here is a chance for you to make some extra money and to clear out any unwanted bric a’brac, knick-knacks and other saleable items.
There will also be a cake sale on the same morning in the school hall organised by the Parents’ Association.
For anyone who would like to take part in the car boot sale, simply fill the boot of your car with items you no longer want and would like to sell and bring them along to the school yard.
Car park gates will open a 10.00 for set-up and sale will start at 11.00. There is a €10 entry fee per car selling and €2 charge for all shoppers. All proceds and entry fees go to the school’s Ruby Celebration Fund. See Christ The King Caherdavin Newsletter.
